Higher Education Sport Champion
Celebrates the contribution made by those working outside the sector to higher education sport. Institutions are encouraged to nominate organisations or individuals that have supported them, or higher education sport in general.

A.D. Munrow Award
Celebrates a remarkable individual who has made a significant contribution to BUCS and/or university sport and has been instrumental in supporting, growing and developing university sport and physical activity over a sustained period.
Dan Porter Award
This award is in memory of former Sheffield Hallam Head of Sport, and BUCS colleague, Dan Porter who tragically lost his battle with cancer in 2018. Before his passing Dan fearlessly faced his challenges, establishing the Danny Porter Foundation and raising £100,000 through a variety of sporting and fundraising events. In memory of Dan, the Dan Porter Award was created to recognise an individual or group who has faced and overcame adversity and/or disadvantage to positively impact others.
This award celebrates an individual or group who have faced and overcome adversity or disadvantage to positively impact others within university sport and physical activity. The individual or group will have demonstrated a remarkable sense of character to achieve, motivate and inspire.
